Living Histories funds our work through a combination of service contracts, grants, and donations from individual donors.
Donations from individuals are particularly useful in supporting our community based work. Donations to Living Histories help pay for supplies, technology, training and teaching staff, all of which enable us to make a positive, long lasting impact in the lives of the youth we serve.
Living Histories operates on a very lean, social entrepreneurship model. We have very minimal overhead costs; the vast majority of our resources are devoted towards connecting with and serving youth.
Your financial support - regardless of how big or small - is a way of voicing your commitment of creating a world in which service, social justice and global awareness are critical components of education for youth everywhere, creating a generation of young people who think of ‘service’ as an integrated part of their day to day existence and lead initiatives in their communities that improve lives.
